We Don't Serve Teens

This site grabbed my attention when I saw their print ad in the July 7th issue of US News and World Report (who said print media is dead?). The site (www.dontserveteens.gov), is run and funded by various government agencies as well as private industry. Some of the valuable information on this site is a good Q&A section, as well as a state map that identifies the laws in that state related to legal drinking age.

This site is very informative and a good resource for parents and teens alike. It allows you to download various images, pdfs, and web banners so that you can put them on your own site (great for restaurant and bar owners). I've posted an example above.

While I believe this site has been around for a while, I do find it interesting that it is advertising on the heels of the SAMHSA report (which I spoke about in an earlier post). Exposure and education of these issues is the only way to reduce abusive drinking and eliminate some of their consequences.
