On Friday, we received a letter from the IRS stating they have approved our 501(c)3 designation. We are officially a non-profit organization. The letter was dated July 18, 2008.
After a fabulous kickoff Beach Bash, and now the official designation, we are now ready to launch some of the projects we have been working on. Stay tuned for more information on Cab Angels and our project to work with local school districts to put together a program to teach school aged kids about peer pressures.
All of this could not have been done without the support of our friends, family and generous donors. We continue to be humbled by and appreciate the outpouring of generosity from everyone! Stay tuned...
